Microvision Pico Projector at CES 2008

Microvision announced today that it will be unveiling its pocket sized Plug-and-Play Pico projector for portable devices at CES 2008 next week. The thin laser projector prototype is designed to connect with mobile phones, PDAs, PMPs, digital cameras, and notebooks.
The prototype projector is code-named SHOW, is about the size of a PDA, is fully self contained, battery operated, and projects full color images.
The projector can throw high res video and images from connected devices onto any surface with image sizes from 12-inches to 100 inches depending on the projection distance. The projector battery is good for 2.5 hours of life. The screen resolution is 848 x 480 offering DVD quality images.
