eBay CEO Meg Whitman plans to retire?

The WSJ reports that Meg Whitman the CEO of eBay since 1998 plans to retire from top post at the online auction giant.
The Journal reports that Ms. Whitman has apparentely already started to delegate more daily responsibilities to her lieutenants and is completing her succession planning.
If she retires from eBay Meg Whitman could be replaced by John Donahoe, who serves currently as President of eBay's auction business unit.
