Just after singer John Mayer gave his review the technology pundits at the WSJ, Newsweek, and USA Today got their MacBook Air notebooks to publish their first heavy weighing reviews of the world's thinnest notebook. Steve Jobs announced the MacBook Air over a week ago at the MacWorld Expo 2008.
John Mayer says about the MacBook Air: "Yes, it really is as cool as it looks. Lean, mean lifestyle workstation". Walter Mossberg at the WSJ says: "It’s so svelte when closed that it’s a real shock to discover the big screen and keyboard inside."
Overall the first reviews of the Apple MacBook Air are very positive. Everybody likes the thinness and only complain a bit about the missing optical drive and the few available ports.
