Sony Ericsson introduced the XPERIA X1 Windows smartphone at the MWC 2008. Apparently Windows handset expert HTC will manufacture the XPERIA X1.

The deal would mark the first top-tier handset vendor for HTC.
Digitimes got the information is from Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) report. Engadget also already posted that HTC would build the XPERIA X1.
