I wish I would have had a Dixau DX-1000 from Unical when I was in school. The Dixau reads words you do not understand while you read and looks it up automatically on your PC.
Korean Unical offers with the Dixau a small gadget with an integrated camera and text recognition. When you align the Dixau over a word you want to look up you just push a button and your PC shows the results from Google or other dictionaries - very neat!
The Dixau saves you from typing in the word you do not know and you can stay where you are in the book you are reading.
The Unical PR team should maybe replace this photo they sent out with the Dixau release. It looks up the word "snorting" and the first result on Google is "Lindsay Lohan Snorting Coke". The fourth result is also very appropriate for kids: "New Trend: Snorting Vodka to get Drunk?". It would make sense to bundle a parental control software with the Dixau.
The Dixau DX-1000 USB gadget sells for 89,000 Won (~$94) in Korea. This gadget would definitely be also interesting for the U.S. and European market.
See also the Dixau Site (Korean).
