Dell launched its latest XPS gaming desktop today called the XPS 630. The XPS 630 starts at $1249 and will be available starting February 27th via the Dell website. Dell says that the XPS 630 is designed around standard components and uses a standard ATX chassis.
This will allow for gamers to upgrade their systems as time goes by and their needs change. The system is ready for both ATI Crossfire and NVIDIA SLI. Dell also includes an application from the control panel that will allow for overclocking of the CPU.
Other features of the XPS 630 include the nForce 650 SLI chipset, overclockable Corsair Dominator RAM, 750W PSU, Light FX 2.0 adjustable lighting, Blu-ray drive option, and AGEIA PhysX accelerator option. A special launch configuration for $1299 will include an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU, dual NVIDI A8800 GT 512MB graphics cards and a 2-year warranty.
