Solar Technology has introduced a new charger for users of the iPhone and iPod touch and other mobile phones and MP3 players. The FreeLoader 8.0 Portable Solar Charger can charge all sorts of devices like digital cameras, MP3 players, mobile phones and portable game systems.

The FreeLoader 8.0 is available in silver or pink colors and promises to power an iPod for an additional 18 hours, a mobile phone for 44 hours, PSP for 2.5 hours and a PDA for 22 hours.

The FreeLoader can charge its own internal batteries at the same time it charges your device and uses extra sensitive solar panels especially for power in cloudy climates. The device comes with 11 power adapters including a USB and miniUSB adapter.
