Blu-ray is now the only HD format, but it is still very surprising to see a Blu-ray movie leading the overall movie bestseller list on Amazon.com.

Will Smith's I Am Legend will ship in two days on March 18th. The DVD version is only position 15 in the bestseller list.

In the case for No Country for Old Men things are normal, meaning the DVD version is listed higher up than the Blu-ray version. The Blu-ray No Country for Old Men disc is also at an impressive 7th place.

There are so unbelievably many more DVD players than Blu-ray players in households that it is strange to see Blu-ray on top. It could be that Blu-ray owners are more likely to buy discs and DVD player owners are rather renting. Additionally I am Legend is sure a stunner on Blu-ray.
