A rumor about Dell restarting their handheld device business appeared in Asia. Digitimes reports that Dell plans to resume its handheld device business and the company may team up with Foxconn Electronics.
Dell stopped selling Dell Axim PDAs about one year ago. Dell has launched the first Axim Windows PDA back in 2002.
Obviously PDAs are dead, but Windows Smartphones are selling like hot cakes. With a cool Windows phone Dell could be grabbing some market share in the Windows phone segment.
More details on Digitimes.
