Yesterday we reported that references to an 3G Infinion chip was found in the upcoming iPhone OS 2.0. Today the 3G iPhone rumor mill turns further with new information about the 3G iPhone launching at the WWDC 2008.

TG Daily is the source for the WWDC 08 3G iPhone rumor. They cite industry sources. Apparently pricing for the 8GB 3G iPhone and the 16GB iPhone would mirror today's iPhone pricing.
Additionally the new 3G iPhone would be 2.5mm slimmer. This would mean the iPhone would be just 9.1mm thick. This would be quite impressive.
The case itself would also be getting a slight update.
