Navigon introduced a pair of new entry-level priced GPS devices this week called the 2100 Max and 2120 Max. Both units share the same features except the 2120 includes U.S. and Canadian maps. The 2120 is only available in Canada at $329 CAD. The 2100 is available in the U.S. only and features only U.S. maps for $299.

Both machines use the same 4.3-inch touchscreen and offer text-to-speech driving directions. Navigon’s RealityView is also included providing a photo-realistic view of complex highway interchanges and Lane Assistant helps drivers get into the correct lane. One key feature for the devices is compatibility with Navigon’s FreshMaps service. The service provides up to 12 map and POI updates over a three year period.
