Yesterday's first response from Yahoo! on Microsoft's bid withdraw only had a brief statement by Jerry Yang. He has posted though late Sunday a blog entry on Yodel Anecdotal.
Yahoo's CEO highlights the Yahoo's people, spirit and culture. He also talks about how exciting the last quarter was for Yahoo and how many innovative products and services the company introduced.
For the post Microsoft acquisition era Jerry Yang plans to make your Internet experience as personal, relevant, open and social as possible, serving advertisers so well they insist on working with us, and opening up Yahoo! in a way that developers dream of. And, he also wants to continue to pursue strategic opportunities that position us for long-term success.
If this message will help prevent the predicted massive stock slide today is questionable.
