Warner Brothers interactive and TT Games have announced what may be the oddest concept for a video game I have seen in a long time. TT Games will be developing a video game for the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS called Guinness World Records: The Video Game.
The game is slated for a fall 2008 release and gives players the chance to break world records. The game can be played in single player mode or with teams and in competitive multiplayer groups. Gameplay will allow gamers to grow the world’s longest finger nails, walk a tight rope across the Grand Canyon and eat a jumbo jet. This is a weird video game concept for sure.
"We are very pleased with how Guinness World Records: The Videogame looks and plays, this new development reflects the versatility of our content and how it can be tailored for almost any medium and format," said Sam Fay, Senior Vice President of Guinness World Records. "We are sure that the game is going to be a favourite amongst all aspiring record breakers!"
