Last week we reported about the Mojave Vista experiment Microsoft pulled on unsuspecting Windows XP users. Today Microsoft launched a site called The Mojave Experiment, where they show a collection of videos from the focus group.
The first part shows the selected users go on about how bad Vista is. The 2nd part shows them being impressed with Mojave. In the 3rd part they got confronted with the truth - Mojave is actually Windows Vista.
The little marketing stunt is proving that most consumers do not even look at Vista anymore, but as I wrote in the first story about the Mojave test this is besides the point. Vista is just another feature packed OS and does not make you more productive compared to Windows XP. Vista is sure usable as Microsoft already sold 140 million copies, but if you are used to working with XP, you just do not need it. If you buy a new PC or Laptop you will end up with Vista in most cases anyway, there are worse things that can happen.
See the Mojave Experiment here.
