Looks like its soon back to school again. Walmart is offering a 14" TFT Notebook with Athlon XP-M 1600+ CPU and 128MB RAM for $598.
The low-cost Notebook is branded with ECS. This Walmart Notebook also has wireless built-in, although its only 801.11b. DVD-Rom and a 40GB hard-drive are part of the feature-set. The notebook runs Windows XP Home. The $598 are without hassles Walmart says, no rebates required.
