Digitimes reports that NVIDIA has supposedly decided to stop making chipsets.
Update:
NVIDIA not quitting Chipset Business.
Apparently the nForce chipsets do not get enough demand from motherboard makers.
If NVIDIA is not making the chipsets for the SLI functionality needed on motherboards for their high-end cards needs to be enabled through chipsets made by other manufacturers.
If this report is true than the rumor about Apple sourcing chips from NVIDIA for their next MacBooks is false, unless the rumored chips are GPUs.
