For many big-city dwellers a car of any kind, whether electric or gasoline powered, is not a real option because of the tight city confines and the lack of parking. At the same time, some of these people don't want to pedal around on a bicycle on the way to work getting hot and sweaty in the process. For these people Ultra Motor has a new electric bike that might be just the ticket.
The bike is called the A2B electric bike and it promises superior performance, comfort and a sleek design. The bike is powered by a proprietary motor that is highly efficient and produces more torque to enable riders to accelerate faster and climb hills more easily. When the battery goes dead you plug it in and recharge it just like a laptop.
The bike features a mountain bike style design with an upright sitting position and oversize seat for comfort. No driver's license is required to operate the bike and it promises to travel at speeds up to 20 mph without pedaling, for distances up to 20 miles a single charge. The battery can also be swapped allowing for a total 40-mile travel range without recharging. Pricing and availability information for the bike is unknown at this time.
