Dell Announces New Vostro for Business and Emerging Nations

Dell announced its latest Vostro notebook today called the Vostro A860. The notebook is an affordable 15.6-inch laptop for business use and has a widescreen LCD with anti-glare coating and it can be outfitted with Intel processors ranging from the Celeron to Core 2 Duo. The machine can be bought with Windows Vista or Ubuntu Linux as the OS.
A smaller Vostro A840 was also announced that is very similar to the A860, but has a smaller 14.1-inch LCD. Also announced is the Vostro A180 desktop for everyday business computing with Intel Celeron or Pentium dual-core processors. OS options include Linux and Windows Vista. The final new Vostro system is the A100 entry-level desktop that runs an Intel Atom processor and Ubuntu Linux for the OS. Pricing is unknown at this time.
