Jerry Seinfeld's Windows Vista commercials job is apparently done. Today Microsoft is launching phase two of their $300 million Windows Vista is not that bad campaign with ads that directly pick up the Apple Get a Mac campaigns.
The NY Times reports that one of the ads opens with an engineer looking very much like John Hodgman in the Apple ads. He says: "Hello, I'm a PC, and I've been made into a stereotype."
This is supposedly the entry to a counterstrike campaign. We have to wait for the whole ad to see if that is going to work. I am sure Apple's agency is up for a fun counterstrike as well.
More details on NY Times.
