The famous Ars Electronica Festival is happening in Linz (Austria) again. The theme for this years Festival is Timeshift - The world in 25 years.
The photo on the right shows a installation called Commotion, where moving toy cars correspond with vibrations in the funny hat. When a toy car gets of track the vibration is the most intense.
More exciting than this are the Seven Mile Boots that enable users to "walk" between Internet Chat Rooms. The Boots have wireless LAN connectivity. Text to Voice software is reading text encountered in a Browser.
