More Notebooks and PCs News
Best Buy has introduced its Blue Label series of products that were developed from customer feedback. The products in the Blue Label line are constructed with input from Best Buy by consumer electronics companies like Toshiba and HP.
The first two products in the line are the Toshiba Satellite E105-S1402 we talked about yesterday and the HP Pavilion dv3510nr. Input from customers resulted in notebooks with backlit keyboards, thin and light designs and warranties at no charge. Both notebooks will be available at Best Buy starting October 5th.
“As the leading consumer electronics retailer, Best Buy has millions of interactions with consumers each year. We listened to our customers and learned that they wanted more from the feature set on available laptops so we went directly to manufacturers to fix that,” said Wendy Fritz, senior vice president of computing, Best Buy. “Through the Blue Label process, we’re addressing customer needs in a way that no retailer has done before and we’re giving manufacturers valuable insight to make products for our customers.”
