RadioShack has launched an online electronics trade-in program that allows you to exchange certain used portable electronics for a RadioShack Gift Card.
If you have a box full of old Zunes, iPods, Cameras, GPS gadgets, laptops or video game consoles you can easily get rid of it and get cash in the form of a RadioShack Gift Card.
The amount you get depends on the gadget and its condition. For instance an iPod nano 2G gets you up to $63.75, a iPod touch 1G gets you up to $197.20, or a first gen Zune up to $58.14.
If you accept the trade-in value for your used gadget you will be mailed a RadioShack Gift Card that can be used toward the purchase of new products in RadioShack stores nationwide.
If you do not want to go through the hassle of selling your old gear on eBay this new offer is an easy way to get rid of your stuff. I am not sure what RadioShack is doing with the used gadgets. Maybe they will sell them on eBay.
You can see what your old gadgets are worth on the RadioShack Site.
