Verizon Wireless has announced that the HTC Touch Pro is now available on its network. The handset offers a touch screen and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The handset can be purchased today online and will be available in store on December 1.
The Touch Pro offers Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro and runs HTC's TouchFLO 3D interface. Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, and Outlook are available as well. The handset has a 3.1MP camera with a LED flash. The handset will retail for $349.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate and two-year agreement.
One of the cool features of the phone is that the camera doubles as a scanner allowing business cards to be scanned into the devices contact database. The device can also function as a GPS navigator and features a 2.8-inch display. Storage is up to 16GB via a microSD card slot.
