The Apple Macworld 2009 keynote is only hours away. We have covered over the past weeks lots of rumors and predictions on what Phil Schiller will present in his first and last Macworld keynote.
For me the best bet is a big showing of the new OS X Snow Leopard that is aimed to demolish Microsoft Windows 7 as much as possible.
On the hardware side I am not sure if we will see that much new stuff as Apple is changing into a full on event driven mode in 2009.
Still, I imagine that Apple is really going to announce a new iMac, 17 inch unibody MacBook Pro and a new Mac mini as these should have been updated already in last fall.
A new rumor talks about Apple expanding their DRM free music offering according to CNet. This would be a nice move giving consumers more flexibility on where to play purchased music.
Another last minute rumor hopes for a iPhone tethering plan from AT&T.
Despite really liking the idea of a smaller iPhone, I do not think that the iPhone nano will be introduced at the Macworld 2009.
Phil Schiller will take the stage at the Macworld 2009 at 9am PST. We will report of course about the keynote highlights and announcements as they become available.
