Sony officially unveiled the Sony Walkman X Series Wi-Fi touchscreen media player today with the Sony Walkman NWZ-X1051 and NWZ-X1061.
If you would like to see the new iPod touch contender from Sony in action then watch the video below from Stuff.tv. The Stuff.tv reporter actually went to Tokyo for the review and not to CES.
The brief video review shows a very usable and pretty UI Sony has implemented on the NWZ-X1000 Walkman.
The Sony Walkman NWZ-X1051 sports 16GB of storage and the NWZ-X1061 comes with 32GB of flash memory.
Other feature highlights of the new touchscreen Walkman include 3 inch wide OLED touch screen display with WQVGA resolution, 13.5mm EX Headphones, Digital Amplifier ”S-Master,” Digital Noise Canceling, Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE), Touch panel operation with hybrid button system, Integrated WiFi delivers content from the internet and other services including Podcast auto download, YouTube Streaming and Music Meta Link, FM and Multi Audio/Video Codec support for MP3/WMA/AAC/L-PCM and AVC(H.264/AVC)/MPEG-4/WMV DRM.
