Some geeks from the Official Xbox Magazine were given a chance that many gamers would frag for, the opportunity to drive a real live Warthog right out of Halo. How did the Warthog come to be you ask? The working, life size replica was built for the doomed Peter Jackson feature film based on the game.

I was very sad when I heard that the movie wouldn’t be made, but at least the props weren't destroyed. Along with the Warthog are some slick armor sets right out of the game, alas no Master Chief armor was available.

The engine of the Warthog is pulled from a popular Australian SUV known as the Nissan Patrol along with the front and rear differentials. The ride is four-wheel drive, automatic and turbocharged. The beast even has the massive machine gun in the rear as well.
