How about not just one new iPhone for 2009? A Canadian research firm called Canaccord Adams predicts that Apple is launching three new iPhone models in 2009.
According to this rumor Apple would release a top of the line 32GB iPhone 3G in multiple colors like the currently availalbe iPod nano.
The iPhone nano is also part of the line-up and a less interesting iPhone 2.5G without GPS for China and India. The iPhone nano would be a third smaller than the current iPhone 3G and still have internet features.
It is pretty safe to expect at least one new iPhone in 2009. The rumor of three new iPhone models sounds unlikely at first, but has its merits and could be possible. Of course Apple denies any kind of iPhone nano plans, but then again, they never do say what is coming.
