Every time a Windows Mobile 6.5 screenshot leaks they get more and more beautiful. Could it be that Microsoft has done a really nice job with Windows Mobile 6.5? Will it actually be able to stand against Palm WebOS and Apple iPhone OS in coolness?

GadgetMix (Via Engadget) published several Windows Mobile 6.5 screenshots showing the interesting Honeycomb interface.
There is also lots of transparency in the UI of WinMo 6.5 that display status information like incoming calls on top of desktop wallpaper.
One screenshot also shows an icon for the Microsoft Marketplace that is anticipated to be launched at the MWC 2009 as well.

Currently the rumors point to Windows Mobile 6.5 handsets being available in Q3 2009 at the earliest. It would be great if Microsoft can surprise us with a Q1 release at the MWC 2009.
