Shuttle Unveils Mini-PC Core i7 Barebone System

Shuttle has announced a new barebones small form factor computer supporting the new Intel Core i7 processors called the Shuttle XPC SX58H7. The little computer uses the Intel X58 chipset with an ICH10R southbridge.
The new machine is the flagship Shuttle gaming system and packs all of the performance of the new Intel platform into a case 32.5 x 20.8 x 19cm in size. The system offers dual PCI-E 2.0 x 16 slots for dual single slot graphics cards or a single dual slot card.
The rig will also support up to 16GB or triple channel DDR3 RAM and has space for dual SATA HDDs and features dual Gigabit network jacks. The PSU inside the machine is 500W. Availability is set for the end of Q1 2009 at about 483 Euros plus VAT and there is no word on US availability at this time.
