GameStop has announced that it will be running a reservation program for the new Nintendo DSi that is set to launch soon. The DSi will be shipping April 5th according to Nintendo and offers mobile gamers some very significant improvements.

Among the new DSi improvements are a pair of larger screens, a SD card slot, dual cameras, and a thin design. The machine will launch with black or blue colors. The good news for Nintendo fans with a library of DS titles is that they will work with the DSi as well.

GameStop is taking reservations on a limited number of systems and the price to reserve the system alone is $169.99. A system with an accessory pack can be reserved for $194.89. The accessory kit appears to include a DC adapter, earphones, a wallet, and extra styluses.
