Yet another rumor appeared today about the features the all new iPhone 2009 seen to arrive in June or July will bring.
Silicon Alley Insider reports that they heard from an mobile industry insider that they iPhone would get significantly faster internet speeds.
What this possibly means that the iPhone would support HSDPA 3G speeds of 7.2Mbps. A skill many other smartphones are already capable of.
Currently the iPhone 3G only supports 3.6Mbps if you actually can get a reception that offers that theoretical speed.
To pull us down to reality Engadget reports about a new lawsuit against Apple and AT&T for misleading 3G claims.
For me personally 3G is still a major disappointment. I think I can count it still on my two hands when I got a 3G reception that really worked well and had the advertised speeds.
In any case a new iPhone with HSDPA support sounds very nice.
