With the Apple WWDC set to start before you know it, lots of rumors and anticipation is building among Apple fans. The big expectation is that a new generation iPhone will be announced and rumors are popping up about what hardware the device will offer.
According to 9to5mac.com, the new device will use a Broadcom BCM4329 wireless chip offering 802.11n speeds and the ability to join 5GHz wireless networks. The chipset also adds the ability to send and receive information over FM, meaning it has a built-in FM transmitter.
The current FM Receiver only picks up info from the Nike+ accessory. The features are pure speculation at this point since Apple has disabled features on chipsets before, most likely to save on power consumption.
