HP Pavilion DV2 Notebook Launches

At CES 2009 AMD was showing off the HP Pavilion DV2 during its talks about its mobile processors and technology. The little notebook was very good looking and has a very thin profile. HP has announced that the DV2 is now officially available for purchase.
The machine runs Windows Vista Home Premium and uses a 1.6GHz Athlon Neo MV-40 CPU designed specifically for ultra-portable notebooks. The notebook has a 12.1-inch screen that is LED backlit with a screen resolution of 1280 x 800. Dimensions for the machine are 11.5" L x 9.45" D x 0.93" to 1.29" H.
HP uses 4GB of RAM in the machine and graphics are via ATI HD 3410 graphics. Integrated 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless networking and a SuperMulti 8x CD/DVD burner are included. Storage is to a 320GB 5400RPM HDD and the primary battery is a 6-cell unit. Quick ship versions of the notebook retail for $749.99.
