Nokia announced today that the supposedly slimmest smartphone on the market, the Nokia E71x, will be available in AT&T retail stores and online beginning today. The Nokia E71x is selling for $99.99 (pay $149.99 and after mail-in rebate, receive $50 AT&T promotion card. A two-year service agreement is also required.)
Nokia unveiled the Nokia E71x in March. Nokia claims that the E71x is the thinnest smartphone. The Nokia E71x is 0.4 inches (10.16mm) thick. This is very thin, but the E71x has no touchscreen. The iPhone is 0.48 inches thick (12.3mm), but has a touchscreen.
Other features of the Symbian S60 Nokia E71x include 2.4 inch QVGA screen, QWERTY Keyboard, HSDPA, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, IR, Media Player, 3.2MP camera, and Browser with Flash support.
