Logitech is famous for its force feedback racing wheels like the Logitech G25, but the company has never produced a force feedback flight system for flight simulations and games. Logitech announced today that its new Flight System G940 is coming to market. The controls of the G940 were inspired by military and commercial planes and helicopters say Logitech.
The system features a force feedback joystick, dual throttle and rudder pedals. The programmable buttons on the system can be bound to over 250 commands. The system connects together and plugs into your PC with a USB cable.
Logitech says that the G940 is compatible with the most popular flight simulations on the market including Flight Simulator X, IL-2 Sturmovik, and Lock On: Modern Air Combat X-Plane 9. I wish Tom Clancy's HAWX was a force feedback title. The G940 will ship in September for $299.99.
