Kingston has announced a new DataTraveler flash drive that is a first for the market. The small flash drive packs 128GB of storage inside its case. Along with tons of storage space, the flash drive also offers password protection.
The drive is called the DataTraveler 200 and uses a capless design with a retractable USB connector. The retracting design protects the connector without having to worry about losing caps. If 128GB of storage is too much other capacities are available as well.
The other capacity drives include 32GB and 64GB. Overall dimensions of the drive are 2.77" x 0.49" x 0.89". The Password Traveler security software is for Windows PCs only and the drive supports Windows ReadyBoost. The 128GB flash drive sells for $546.
