Yesterday we brought you news about the U8230, a gorgeous new Android smartphone from Chinese manufacturer Huawei. The U8230 is a slick, silver smartphone with a 3.5" touch screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a 15 mAH battery, and a Qualcomm chipset. According to Huawei this new Android device will have a much longer battery life than any other Android smartphone out on the market.
The U8230 is one of the better looking Android phones coming down the pipeline, and it'll be hitting Europe in just a few weeks. T-Mobile will be offering Huawei's new phone across the continent in the late third quarter of 2009.
Unfortunately, we don't yet have any information on when we can expect to see this phone released in the U.S. It was designed to work with the UMTS 3G networks in Europe and China, and it's perfectly possible that we'll never see a full stateside release.
