This morning we caught our first glimpse of HTC's new Sense UI for the HTC Hero, and were pretty blown away by how good it looked. In addition to being one slick UI, it has the ability to save multiple different app/widget configurations as separate 'scenes'. Sense impressed a lot of people, and made more than a few of us with older Android handsets turn green with envy.
That is, until this excellent piece of news from HTC CEO Peter Chou came out.
“HTC sense will be available on some other existing devices.”
There are quite a few things that little sentence could mean. Chou could be referring to the upcoming myTouch 3G. He could also be talking about the G1 or the Magic. In fact, it's entirely possible that HTC Sense will be made available to all HTC Android smartphones, now and in the future. If so, being a T-Mobile customer just got a whole lot better.
