If you use Apple's Safari web browser, a new update is out that addresses two security vulnerabilities and improves function. You can download this latest patch here or just wait for Software Update to take care of it. According to the support document, this patch should make the Nitro JavaScript language more stable and reliable.
Two security issues were also fixed in 4.0.2. The first fix dealt with malicious cross-site scripting attacks. The second fix dealt with a code execution issue that sometimes lead to 'unexpected application termination' and 'arbitrary code execution'. Both issues have been addressed and should no longer be a concern for Safari owners.
