The rumored Apple Tablet is still a hot rumor. Today the The Wall Street Journal (Subscription) reports again that Steve Jobs is focusing on the development of the new Apple Tablet device. Why again? Back in April the WSJ also reported that Steve Jobs is working on the Apple Tablet from home during his medical leave.
The WSJ cites sources that say Steve Jobs is focusing especially on the spin for the Apple Tablet. Which would make sense, as Apple needs to be building up an enticing value to make an Apple iTablet a success.
As written here many times, I do not believe in the success of a general purpose Tablet computer. Apple needs to create a new experience, which could be around home entertainment integration and the rumored Cocktail music content.
