Hip, hip, HOORAY! After a long and stultifying wait, the Rhapsody application has been approved for the App Store. If you've got an iPhone or an iPod Touch, you can now have access to any music that strikes your fancy. Yay for whim indulgence! If you want more details about the app, check out what the developer has to say.
Rhapsody brags a music library of over 8 million songs, all of which are available for streaming to their users. While the music you stream from Rhapsody isn't going to be of great quality, only the audiophiles among us will really notice. Sorry guys.
Speaking of awesome music apps, Pandora launched for the Android OS yesterday as well. PCMag.com reports that the Internet radio app is now available for the G1 and myTouch 3G. The developers are working with Sprint to ensure it will work on the Hero as well. With these new apps, plus yesterday's Apple event, this has been one of the most rockin' weeks in recent memory.
