Today is a great day to be alive. After years of torturous, agonized, nigh-unbearable waiting, mankind has taken a major step forward. Google Sync now has push Gmail support. Sure, that might not be quite as impressive as the moon landing or the discovery of Drambuie, but it's going to make day-to-day life much more convenient for a hell of a lot of people.
Google Sync lets users synchronize their Gmail contacts/Google Calendar with their iPhone OS, WinMo, or Symbian smartphones. Today Google has added Gmail support to sync, which means you can now have your messages pushed straight to your phone. Your inbox stays up to date wherever you are, without you needing to refresh.
If you want to give Google Sync a try on your smartphone, just visit m.google.com/sync, or go here to learn more.
