The Storm 2 will be hitting stores by the end of this month. Over in the UK, Vodafone has been bragging about gaining exclusivity of the Storm 2 when it launches around October 26th. However, according to Boy Genius, this exclusivity will not be long for this world. In fact, it could last as little as "a few weeks".

When exclusivity ends, you can bet O2 and T-Mo and other UK carriers will be fighting to carry RIM's latest flagship smartphone. That's bad news for Vodafone, because it means a price war is in their very near future. It's very good news for everyone in the UK though. When the Storm 2 launches at the end of this month, hold off on buying it. As soon as Vodafone's exclusivity ends, you're going to see that price drop like a rock.
