Joystiq has a brand new rumor saying that Sony is planning a PSP with built-in 50GB hard drive.

The Joystiq team catched the rumor at the “Positioning for Profitability in the Video Game Economy” (serious topic) conference. A prototype of the HDD Sony PSP might be shown at the end of 2005. Availability of the Sony 50GB PSP would be in 2006.
50GB of writable storage in a PSP would be quite cool. Making the PSP a full blown power portable media jukebox and game console.
