When the unfinished Sony PSP update made its round on the web a couple of month ago everybody got excited about having a Web Browser on the PSP. Some smart people figured out (cannot figure out who was first) to use the web access feature inside Wipeout Pure (Note to self: Need to buy Wipeout Pure) to access any web-site.
The procedure includes to configure a DNS server that maps the download server for the PSP game to a custom page. The web browser in the game has of course no Userinterface for web-browsing so the URLs have to be typed in on web pages that use javascript to have the browser load the site.
The site Absurd Genius has setup a DNS server and a little portal page that makes it very easy to access the web with the PSP.
More details on PSP411. First seen on Gizmodo, which also has more links to other site describing Sony PSP web-surfing with Wipeout Pure.
