Sony Europe takes legal action against one of the most well-known Asian game exporters Lik-Sang.

A couple weeks ago Sony Europe went after stores in the UK that imported the Japanese Sony PSP.
From the Statement Lik-Sang posted on their site:
"Sony of Europe alleges that Lik-Sang.com has breached Sony's Trade Mark rights by offering the PlayStation Portable (PSP) for sale to customers in the UK, and seeks a court order that would prevent Lik-Sang.com from selling or offering systems, games and accessories to customers in the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA). "
More details in the statement published by Lik-Sang.
We promote Lik-Sang as one of the online stores where early adopters can get Japanese and other Asian games and hardware which are not available else where.
I would not care if Sony and other companies would be able to do global launches of their new products. As long as they cannot do that stores like Lik-Sang fill the need for those who cannot wait and why should they? Those consumers are used to pay premiums to get their hands on the latest gear.
And what is the alternative? Are Consumer electronics companies going to make Asian gadget imports illegal in the future and consumers would need to get them on the black market?
