Walmart offers an alternative to Netflix DVD rental Service. Competition is always great for the consumer!

Walmart offers right now a 30 day free trial of their DVD Rental Service.

Currently Walmart's rental fees are lower than Netflix.

Update: 08/12/04: Blockbuster starts Online DVD Rental Service.
Blockbuster charges $19.99 per month for 3 movies out. Additionally customers get two in-store rental free each month. Blockbuster offers a 2 week free trial.

I use Netflix since a long long time and its great. It could be better though. Wait times are long on new releases. Real competition like a from a huge retailer like Walmart can spice things up.
