More CES News Coverage News
Sony is apparently demonstrating a 82 inch LCD TV at the CES 2006 reports Japanese newspaper Nihon Keizai Shimbun.
With 82 inch this LCD TV would be the world's largest LCD TV. Only hiccup is that Samsung already showed (photo) a 82 inch LCD TV at the CeBit in Germany last Spring. How is that possible? Well Sony and Samsung have a joint venture developing LCD panels. I guess Samsung will also show a 82 inch LCD TV at the CES in Las Vegas. Sony for sure will try to gain major exposure for its new BRAVIA brand at the CES 2006.
Currently Sharp leads the game though, because they actually sell the largest LCD TV. The Sharp LC-65D90U sells at Magnolia and other stores in the US. For me that is what counts.
