More Other Stuff News
Sony announced today their earnings today and the numbers are surprisingly good. With the good news comes also some bad news for Sony robot fans.
In the Sony earning announcement (via Engadget) it says that the development for AIBO and QRIO already stopped and that by year end sales will end as well.
It is kind of a strange move, as robots are especially in Asia booming. Sony will still continue its AI research though.
On a side note, Sony also stops their luxury electronics line QUALIA. This move I can understand.
