On to a new rumor: Microsoft to build a portable media player and game console to fight Apple, Sony and Nintendo. As we reported Creative is distant 2nd in the portable music player market. Apple is just untouchable right now. Microsoft is not happy about it. If Microsoft markets a device on their own, they will get problems with their current hardware partners for the portable Windows software platform. This is not an easy business decision.
